HAZWOPER Annual Refresher Course

This is an in-class Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response refresher course and is the 8-Hour Annual Re-Certification for site workers engaged in hazardous waste operations and emergency response. This course covers specific requirements and information pertaining to workers that need to get HAZWOPER re-certified in accordance with the requirements for health and safety training in the OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard 29CFR 1910.120.

This course is conducted through in class, live, hands-on method.  It is an engaging learning experience delivered in a way, only Pacific Safety Academy Trainers can deliver it.  Participants get to practice with the assistance of helpful, caring trainers on various levels of PPE.  We use real, state of the art equipment and training tools.  Training includes exciting learning drills that will make the course a memorable learning experience for everyone (Everyone attending the class is welcome to take selfies in our astronaut suits).

This annual refresher training is for those needing to keep their existing HAZWOPER certification current.  Eight-hour refresher is taken every year by HAZWOPER certified personnel to stay compliant with the OSHA HAZWOPER standard.  The initial 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is required before taking this refresher course.  If you are interested in attending our HAZWOPER 40-hour classroom course, or if you need Supervisor Level training etc. please contact us.  We offer all the levels of HAZWOPER training.  We can also run any of our courses at your company location for your group.

8-hour HAZWOPER Refresher certification is provided upon passing the requirements.  Certification lasts one year from the date of issue.
