Frequently Asked Questions
The simplest way to determine which course you should take is to review the requirements provided by your employer or school. If the information you’ve received is unclear, we recommend consulting your supervisor for clarification.
Most likely, your workplace or compliance body requires you to complete either a First Aid CPR AED class, a BLS class, or in some cases, both. In certain cases you might be required to take First Aid Only class or CPR AED class. Therefore it is important to read your own requirements before signing up. You can also check with those coworkers who have to meet the exact same requirement.
Our registration system is self-service, and our policies are based on the principle that individuals are responsible for verifying their own requirements. If you have further questions, please contact us by clicking the link under the Support tab.
Please see the course descriptions and detailed information on each type of course that is located on our scheduling portal.
We promote the local customs and values such as respecting eachothers’ time inside the classroom and working as team to achieve successful group outcomes. Through our BLS Classes, First Aid CPR AED Classes and through our many community activities, we teach the subject matters that outline the importance of efficiency, timeliness, team work and commitment in the ultimate act of saving a life.
In a society that often promotes division, real-world success with the subjects we teach “ie. Saving Lives” requires more than just technical skills—a focus common to many institutions. It also demands core human and social values, such as respecting each other’s time on earth, understanding time is limited for everyone, working effectively with others, and even caring. These principles lie at the heart of our mission. You can support our outreach initiatives that drive positive social change through education by enrolling in our classes, referring like-minded individuals, or donating. You can also Volunteer or become a Corporate Sponsor.

AHA courses issue eCards upon course completion. If you have already received and claimed your eCard, you can access it by visiting www.heart.org/cpr/mycards. Under the “Students” tab, enter your name and email address, click “Search”, and follow the on-screen instructions to retrieve your card.
If you completed a class but have not yet claimed your eCard, you can visit the same website to claim, download, and print it.
For students who completed their class with us, rest assured that our systems handle eCard processing efficiently and in a timely manner. To ensure a smooth experience, we strongly recommend claiming your eCard on the same day as your class, rather than delaying the process.
Yes. We travel to deliver classes all over Oahu and all the neighboring islands. We also fly to mainland. But on occasion some mainland corporate folks and trainers fly to us get their training done. This means we can even book our facility specifically for your group. To book onsite or in facility classes for groups of 6 or more participants and for questions please reach out to us through B2B Contact Page.
Please read the course descriptions, dates, times and general announcements that are listed on our class registration portal. Talk to your employer regarding the particulars of the training they require you to receive. Read your new hire paperwork, state licensing requirements, school, and internship requirements etc. to see what is written there. Does your paperwork say to go take a BLS class? Does your paperwork say to take a First Aid CPR AED class? If you are not able to find answers to your questions through your employer or through the “proof of training” requiring body that is making you take the types of classes we offer, reach out to us through our contact us page. If you have already signed up for a class with us, we also recommend reading your class reservation confirmation email.

As a recruiter, your time is valuable, and evaluating a candidate’s employability shouldn’t feel like piecing together a puzzle. Traditionally, determining even the simplest and the most basic key qualities like punctuality, teamwork, and reliability often meant sifting through social media profiles or analyzing second-hand feedback. With Fast CPR, you can bypass the endless scrolling and avoid the guesswork over exaggerated claims. Instead, focus on what truly matters: selecting candidates who are ready to make a positive impact on your organization. Months of your effort as a recruiter— wasted by a candidate who shows up late to a job interview and can’t even put their phone down? Discover how top recruiters in Hawaii are leveraging Fast CPR to streamline their hiring process.
Yes—but only if you’re genuinely committed and meet many other criteria. While you may purchase equipment and supplies through various distribution channels to teach, we are not a product along the way and all this takes human effort. We will be investing our time and life hours in you. Being stood up—even once—is unacceptable. Becoming an instructor can open doors, but we are not here to be a doormat or a stepping stone. We do not work with individuals looking for a quick title or short-term convenience. We will not take the blame for someone else’s lack of punctuality. Therefore, we are more likely to work with companies that invest in training their internal staff who are accountable to their own teams, where there is a clock, already existing work and productivity related protocols and where there is also an already existing positive team dynamic. If you are part of an organization that values professionalism, punctuality, and long-term commitment, contact us to learn more about becoming an instructor.
